Indications–
Irritation of the cornea with inflammatory & allergic diseases (combined therapy)
Description –
· Creates a hypertonic tear film, thereby drawing water out of the cornea to reduce swelling.
· Decreases swelling of the cornea, may lessen eye discomfort or irritation caused by the swelling.
· Use of Hypertonic sodium chloride 6% ointment at night applied to the conjunctival cul-de-sac limits this build-up of edema.
